We have a youth committee that meets once per month for food, fun, and planning of youth ministry activities and events. Our youth and family ministries director leads a weekly youth time for middle school and high school youth at St Paul on Sunday mornings, 9:30-10:30 AM, early-September – mid-May. Youth are encouraged to participate and lead during worship services, fun events, community service opportunities, and fundraisers for faith-formation events like the triennial ELCA Youth Gathering for grades 8 – 12, camps, mission trips, and retreats. We continue exploring ideas for engaging ministry, with opportunities and activities that excite and encourage today’s young people. Our young people and their trusted adults help decide how we do ministry.
